Science Center of Pinellas County

Anyone know about issues with the Science Center of Pinellas County? This letter to the editor says that the Center will be closing for lack of funds, and that it is supposed to change its focus from elementary-level kids to middle and high school kids. I can’t find any news articles on it and I don’t see anything on the Center’s website.
