Paul Cottle and I have been discussing the pros and cons of the National Science Standards and whether it could be beneficial to science education if the state adopted them in 2011. Paul makes a convincing case why we should. Some would suggest that we have spent a great deal of time and effort implementing the new state standards. Perhaps we should stick with them?
