We are already aware of John Tracy running for a school board seat in Pasco County. But the article linked in that previous post was from October of last year. An article today leaves no doubt about Tracy’s stance on evolution. What’s of particular interest to me is that it’s obviously not just something he happens to believe, but is clearly a solid plank in his platform. He can’t help but mention it when interviewed.
Tracy said he is not out to change the curriculum. Still, he said, students should have a choice about whether they want to learn about evolution in science classes. He also called for making sure that religious references are not wiped out of history books.
