waiting

We’re inside now and the crowd has doubled to more than 30. There is a large sign here in front of the meeting room to help folks separate into two lines. On the left is “to speak in support of the standards as originally published.” On the right is “to speak in support of the standards with recommendations for change.” Both lines are already filled with their 10 speakers each, the max allowed.

Interesting how the sign doesn’t say anything about people opposed to the standards with or without change.

The meeting room doors are expected to open at 8.

    Brandon,

While you’re waiting, is there any way to find out where the streaming feed for the meeting is? I’ve checked the FLDOE site and there’s nothing there yet, nor anything in the Orlando Sentinel.

    Thanks for blogging this!

OK, the Orlando Sentinel just put up a link for their webcast. It will open in Windows Media Player.

  3. This is one of the more exciting things I’ve watch in a long time. Thanks for keeping us rationalists informed. Sometimes I miss the ability to pray.
