Genetics team coming to Florida

In the news today:

A multimillion-dollar deal will bring a top group of genetics researchers from Duke University to the University of Miami.

The group’s leaders, husband-and-wife team Jeffery Vance and Margaret Pericak-Vance, discovered genes associated with diseases such as Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s and macular degeneration while running Duke’s Center for Human Genetics.
